Feeding Guidelines

To our loyal and valued customers:

Petobee is back, and better than ever! We are so sorry for the food shortages over this past summer. We took over our own manufacturing this fall (we used to outsource it to a local Fraser Valley producer), and the transition did not go as smoothly as anticipated.

We have begun production, and the food is making its way into stores. You will notice several changes. First of all, the quantities in the boxes are slightly less than before. Don’t worry – we’ve reduced our prices accordingly. The reason for this is because the format of our food has changed, and we know you’ll be thrilled with the changes. No longer will you have to break the pieces of food apart! They are already pre-separated into 1/4 pound squares for your convenience. Because of this, however, we couldn’t fit as many pieces into a box.

We also advise that you thaw the food, either partially or completely, in the fridge before feeding. The new pieces are a different shape than the old ones, and it might be more challenging for a pet to eat them completely frozen.

Again, we thank you for your patience and loyalty throughout this transition. As we evolve as a company, we will soon be able to offer more product blends and continuing to improve our products to meet our customers’ needs. Please contact us if you have any questions or comments.

Feeding Guidelines

Each piece of Petobee’s frozen raw squares is approximately a 1/4 lb. Feed one square for every 10-15 lbs of body weight per day. Pets may require more or less depending on activity level, age, etc. Due to the different shape of the new squares, it might be more challenging for a pet to eat frozen, so we recommend partially or completely thawing the pieces first. Do not cook or microwave (reduces nutritional value). Do not feed raw within 12 hours of feeding kibble. Pets should not exercise for one hour after eating. Wash hands after handling.
